Compete as an individual for the full sprint triathlon (run, bike, and ski) or as a team member on a relay of two or three. The CHILLY CHEEKS Winter Triathlon will be capped at 125 athletes. This is a fundraiser for the AROOSTOOK 'House of Comfort'.
WINTER TRIATHLON ~ 1.5 MILE RUN, 4 MILE MTN BIKE, 2.5 MILE SKI
The CHILLY CHEEKS WINTER TRIATHLON will start at the Caribou High School Ski Center, transition from run to bike and bike to ski in the parking lot, with the skiing on the trails adjacent to the ski center, and finishing on the soccer field! Athletes will start at the ski center, run out the high school parking lot, take a right heading towards downtown Caribou, turn around at the 0.75 mile mark, and then head back to the ski center and into transition one (T1). In T1, athletes will begin the bike segment, heading out the high school parking lot, take a left on the Woodland Road, take another left onto Lombard Road, turn around at the 2 mile mark, and then head back to the ski center and into transition two (T2). In T2, athletes will begin the ski segment. The ski course will be on the trails adjacent to the ski center, having a roaring finish on the soccer field below the ski center! Post race awards and a meal will be served in the Caribou High School Ski Center.
RELAY
Forget running? Not a biker? Can’t ski? Consider being a member of a relay team for the CHILLY CHEEKS WINTER TRIATHLON! A relay team consists of two or three members, who will complete a segment or two of the full sprint triathlon (run, bike, and ski). Need help creating a relay team? Registration for the Chilly Cheeks Winter Triathlon opens Monday, December 1st, 2014 and closes Wednesday, January 23rd, 2015.
THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION!

January 2, 2015 to January 14, 2026 = $60*
January 15, 2026 to January 23, 2026 = $70*
RELAY TEAMS- December 1, 2025 to January 1, 2026 = $75*

*Athletes will receive an athletic shirt, safe race course staffed with volunteers, aid and hydration stations, a commemorative finishers medal, age group awards, event photography, and an atmosphere that will rival, if not beat, any other race!
*All schedules, times, and race details are subject to change. CompetitorME reserves the right to modify the courses, including shortening or lengthening. All roads are open to traffic.
EVENT SCHEDULE
SATURDAY, JANUARY 31ST:
8:30 am to 9:30 am- race day packet pick up the Caribou High School Ski Center for athletes.
8:30 am to 9:45 am- athletes arrive, transition area opens, and bike check-in.
9:45 am- transition area closes.
10:00 am to 10:20 am- opening remarks and MANDATORY pre-race meeting in Caribou High School Ski Center.
10:30 am- CHILLY CHEEKS Winter Triathlon Begins!
12:30 pm- last athlete finishes (approximately).
1:00 pm- all bikes and gear must be removed from the transition area.
1:00 pm- awards ceremony in Caribou High School Ski Center.
