April is National Autism Awareness month. To bring awareness, support families, and raise money for the Aroostook Autism Support Group, several events are planned throughout the month, including the Autism Challenge. From a presentation open to the public, to a benefit dinner with an auction, to a benefit 5K run and walk, there is something for everyone in our community to show support. The Autism Challenge, is a collaboration between CompetitorME, and TAMC.
The Autism Challenge will be held on Saturday, April 18th, at the Presque Isle Middle School Track. Registration will begin at 9:00 am inside the gymnasium. The 1 Mile Kids Fun Run will begin at 9:30 am on the outdoor track. The 5K run and walk will begin at 10:00 am in front of the middle school and will be a fully supported running race with awards. Kids Fun Run entry is FREE; 5K Run and Walk entry is $20 per person, with children 18 years and younger only $10. All proceeds from the Autism Challenge benefit the Aroostook Autism Support Group.

REGISTRATION
Online registration for the Autism Challenge opens Monday, December 1st, 2014 and closes Wednesday, April 12th, 2015. There
will be race day registration, but it is strongly discouraged. Personalized bibs can only be guaranteed to those registering prior
to March 15th, 2015.

2015 REGISTRATION FEES:
1 MILE KIDS FUN RUN- FREE
YOUTH (18 & younger)- December 1, 2025 to April 12, 2026 = $10*
ADULT (19 & older)- December 1, 2014 to April 12, 2026 = $20*
*Athletes will receive an athletic shirt, safe race course staffed with volunteers, aid and hydration stations, a commemorative finishers medal, age group
awards, event photography, and an atmosphere that will rival, if not beat, any other race!
*All schedules, times, and race details are subject to change. CompetitorME reserves the right to modify the courses, including shortening or lengthening.
All roads are open to traffic.
EVENT SCHEDULE
SATURDAY, APRIL 18th:
8:30 am to 9:30 am- race day registration at Presque Isle Middle School.
9:30 am- Kids 1 Mile Fun Run Begins!
10:00 am- THE AUTISM CHALLENGE BEGINS (Runners AND Walkers)!.
11:30 am- awards ceremony for 5K.
